HSKL is introducing Poorly Drawn Pets!
Here’s the deal: For just $25 to support the animals at the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, send us a photo of your pet, and one of our staff members or volunteers will draw them for you!
The catch? We’re a whole lot better at caring for animals than we are at drawing them.
You might get one of our secretly talented artists... or you might get someone who can’t draw their way out of a paper bag. Either way, you’ll receive a one-of-a-kind portrait of your pet that will hopefully make you smile!
Even better, your $25 will help HSKL continue providing food, shelter, medical care, and love to animals in our community who need us.
Poorly Drawn Pets runs September 03 to September 30.
Once your masterpiece is complete, we’ll let you know! You can choose to receive your portrait by email or pick it up at the HSKL shelter at 107 McLaughlin Rd., Lindsay, ON.

Please note: All pet photos must be submitted through the online form to be drawn. Unfortunately, we cannot accept photo submissions through social media comments or messages.

A big shout-out to BARCS Animal Shelter, who came up with this brilliant fundraiser in 2019. Since then, Poorly Drawn Pets has spread to animal shelters and rescues far and wide, raising much-needed funds for animals in need.
