Maintaining an animal shelter comes with a lot of costs. Since the shelter operates 24/7, 365 days a year, it sees a lot of wear and tear. This fund is set up to assist with things such as roof repairs, snow plowing, replacing leaky faucets, old smoke detectors, burnt-out light bulbs... and so much more! If you are handy with fixing things, we'd love to have you volunteer! You can contact our coordinator by calling the shelter or emailing, email@example.com
The shelter receives no on-going government, city or OSPCA funding. This fund helps with everything from introducing new technology to the shelter, to maintenance on our shelter van, to kitty litter!
The Honey Fund
The Honey Fund is designated to assist with extraordinary medical bills for sick/injured animals. This fund covers medications, surgeries and travel, that would otherwise be unaffordable. This fund was established in memory of Honey, a one-eyed stray dog.
The Marj Owen Spay and Neuter Fund
This fund is named after volunteer, Marj Owen. Marj established the spay/neuter fund which contributes to the cost of spaying or neutering animals prior to adoption. We are pleased to say that every cat and dog is spayed/neutered before they go to their forever home!
